Viv Coleman is a business owner, community leader and elected local government representative from regional Queensland. As Co-Owner and Director of Coleman Crane Rail Pty Ltd, Viv has spent more than two decades building and leading a successful family-owned business delivering specialist rail and infrastructure projects across Australia. Her professional background spans governance, strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, financial oversight and organisational leadership, providing a strong foundation for her contributions to the Variety Australia Board.

Viv currently serves as Chair of Variety – the Children’s Charity Queensland and is passionate about ensuring that Variety continues to deliver meaningful outcomes for children and families across the country. She is a strong advocate for collaboration across the Variety network, supporting sustainable growth, good governance, innovation and increased community impact. Her leadership style is grounded in practical experience, community connection and a commitment to ensuring that every dollar raised delivers the greatest possible benefit to children in need.

A dedicated member of the Variety family for many years, Viv has actively participated in and supported a range of Variety events, fundraising initiatives and volunteer activities. As a member of the Opal Chicks Bash team, she has participated in multiple Variety Bashes and contributed to raising significant funds for children and families. Her involvement at entrant, volunteer, event and board level provides a unique perspective on the importance of maintaining Variety’s culture while continuing to evolve and strengthen its impact nationally. Viv is committed to ensuring Variety remains one of Australia’s most trusted and respected children’s charities for generations to come.
