Since 2015, Variety – the Children’s Charity has been proud to deliver the Just Like You disability education and awareness program in NSW (Sydney, Newcastle, Central Coast), the ACT, and QLD (Brisbane and the Gold Coast).

Booking information

Just Like You offers workshops in four stages that run for 45 minutes each.

Stage 1 (Years 1 & 2)
Stage 2 (Years 3 & 4)
Stage 3 (Years 5 & 6)
Stage 4 (Years 7 & 8)

Each stage is designed to be delivered to a standard sized class of 25-35 students.

To maximise the program’s reach, bookings can be made for as many days as required, with a minimum of 3 workshops booked each day.

Workshop set up

Below are workshop set up requirements for each booking:

Whiteboard or something to project on (the facilitator will bring all the required equipment)
Power supply
Table for Facilitator for laptop set up
Cleared area to provide adequate space for activities
We require a teacher to be present during the workshop
Wheelchair accessible parking, entrance and bathroom
