Zishans Story...
Zishan is an 8 year old boy living with Autism, anxiety and a sensory processing disorder.
Zishan is most comfortable when he receives adequate sensory stimulation from his environment, and even better when it comes from music and/or rhythm. His carers want to help him increase his communication, participation, emotional and sensory regulation through the use of music.
Thanks to our donors, Variety was able to give Zishan a special keyboard with weighted keys, which will help him advance his motor skills.
Due to his auditory sensitivity, the keyboard – which is equipped with Intelligent Acoustic Control (IAC) – will allow Zishan to respond appropriately through balanced sound at any volume level, therefore allowing him to improve his communication going forward.
