Variety Activate Inclusion Sports Days give kids the opportunity to try sports they might otherwise miss out on. Aimed at kids aged 5-18 with learning difficulties, intellectual, sensory and physical disabilities, the days are an opportunity to have a go in a fun and inclusive environment.

In partnership with Disability Sports Australia and One Culture, we delivered three, free, fun & inclusive days of activities.

The events showcase a range of activities including Football, Basketball, and Cricket. In order to promote future participation in physical activity, the program allows for students to identify sports and activities they enjoy and be provided with support and contacts for future participation and pathways.

“Variety, the Children’s Charity is delighted to support over 120 children participating in the Variety Activate Inclusion Sports Days as this allows the children the opportunity to achieve their potential. Importantly, the day is inclusive and filled with fun, empowering the children to explore sports and other activities.” Said Mark McGill, Variety SA CEO.

Variety Activate Inclusion Sport Days encourage and empower kids to explore sporting and active recreation opportunities in their local community.
