SA Variety Bash (2019): Mawson to the Murray
The SA Variety Bash 2019 – ‘Mawson to the Murray’ raised an outstanding $1.94 million (net) for SA kids in need. 94 cars and 284 participants travelled 2,946km over eight days from Mawson Lakes to Murray Bridge. Regional areas benefited as the group distributed grants along the route, as well as injecting thousands of dollars into the local communities through the purchase of fuel, accommodation, meals and supplies.
Special thanks to the SA Variety Bash PLATINUM SPONSOR: Tim Adams Wines / Mr Mick’s Cellar Door and Kitchen and GOLD SPONSORS: Cochrane’s, Codan Radio Communications, Kennards Hire, Mga Whittles Group, Odyssey Carpet One, Ramsey Bros, Seeley International, Toyota Australia and Vili’s. A special thanks to the Rural City of Murray Bridge for sponsoring the finish line! Well done to Sandra Lukin (Bash Chair) and the committee on another successful event.
Thanks to the hard work of our fundraisers, volunteers, sponsors and supporters, this result will make a POSITIVE IMPACT on the lives of South Australian kids who are sick, disadvantaged or have special needs. On behalf of these kids, we say THANK YOU!
