Variety SA V2 Motorcycle Run (2018) - Results
The 2018 Variety V2 Motorcycle Run, sponsored by Adelaide Brighton Cement, included 43 entrants, 20 bikes, six collectable cars, six support vehicles, a coach and a helicopter for the event’s 11th year, raising an impressive $150,000 (net) for SA kids in need.
Departing from Adelaide on 18 October, entrants spent four days travelling through beautiful Kangaroo Island and the Fleurieu Peninsula on a journey to the finish line at The Bend Motorsport Park.
There were many highlights including the community night in KI, where $30,000 was granted for a youth hub and the calisthenics club to Goolwa where a grant for $13,500 was presented for an all abilities sailing program, and finishing with parade laps around The Bend Motorsport Track on the final day. We can’t wait to hit the road again next year!
