Variety SA featured grants: Poonindie Community Learning Centre

Variety SA has granted a wheelchair accessible garden bed to the Poonindie Community Learning Centre valued at $2594. Principal, Sally Cormack says the garden has enlisted a great deal of interest and engagement from all students in learning about plant growth and sustainable gardening methods. They plan to ensure that all cultural groups engage in this venture by eventually growing bush tucker foods and vegetables/herbs from a range of cultural backgrounds.”
