Variety Radiothon to support SA School for Vision Impaired
As part of the Variety Radiothon. We are hoping to raise $50,000 to assist the SA School for Vision Impaired to replace their playground that was burnt down by vandals. Here are some photos of before and after the damage. These children are aged between 5 and 13 years of age and are vision impaired. Some students have additional disabilities including hearing impairment, cerebral palsy and autism. The whole playground needs to be removed and replaced and the school is seeking assistance towards the purchase of access ramps, slides and other play equipment items. Currently, the school is planning to use funding they had set aside for their school camp to assist with the rebuild.
