Two Easter Picnics = Double the Smiles!
For the first time ever, we hosted not one, but two Variety Easter Zoo Picnics this month – and what an egg-stra special celebration it was!
Over two magical days, more than 2,000 kids and 800 carers joined us at Adelaide Zoo for a day full of fun, laughter and surprises – including a visit from the Easter Bunny, a sausage sizzle thanks to the Rotary Club and delicious snack packs donated by Woolworths.
A huge thank you to the amazing organisations who helped make it all possible: Zoos SA, Kytons Bakery Australia, Woolworths, Rotary Club of Campbelltown and Unley, BTR Excavations, Adelaide Botanic Garden, and our mascot mates from Port Adelaide Football Club, Police Credit Union, FruChocs and Life Ed. SA
And to our incredible Variety in Action committee, the wonderful students from Wilderness School and St Francis de Sales College Mount Barker, and our volunteers – thank you for bringing the magic to life. These special days wouldn’t happen without you.
