More than 845 kids in need and 450 carers came together on Tuesday, 24 September for the Variety Kids Picnic at the Adelaide Zoo!
This was our second picnic for the year, giving children who are sick, disadvantaged or living with disability, the opportunity to get out into the community and enjoy a day at the zoo. Children attending were entertained by Mascots, a Puppet Show, by Elizabeth Downs Primary School plus all the resident Zoo animals.
Everyone got to enjoy a sausage sizzle generously donated by the Rotary Club and snack packs from Woolworths.
This Picnic would not be possible without the dedicated volunteers and our generous supporters: Zoo SA, Woolworths BTR Excavations, Rotary club of Unley and Rotary Club of Campbelltown, Cochrane’s Transport, Combined Bus Services, Police Credit Union, Kytons Bakery Australia.
