Variety SA Featured Grant - Josh
Joshua is 12 years old and has a congenital disease, Arterio Venous Malformation (AVM), a 1:100,000 diagnosis. To date, Joshua has had 15 procedures and is likely to have many more. Despite the medical complications, Joshua is a determined young man and has achieved a great deal of success in Archery with long term goals to represent Australia in the Olympics and World Championships. Variety helped Joshua by providing a Variety Heart Scholarship to assist with competition fees, a new bow and case, as well as arrows. With his determination and unquestionable talent, Joshua has a bright future ahead.
