As a result of the lessening of COVID-19 restrictions and the government’s introduction of the new Test, Trace, Isolate and Quarantine (TTIQ) model within South Australia, the Board of Variety the Children’s Charity has taken the decision that from Monday 17th January 2022 all persons 16 years or older entering its office will need to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with a vaccine approved by the Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration. Those with a medical exemption will be required to provide evidence as per ATAGI recommendations.
Variety’s position in relation to this matter for our motoring events and functions is currently with the VSA Board and Honourary Medical Panel.
Variety SA’s priority has always been the health and safety of our staff and visitors, and the decision to make our office fully vaccinated has been made to protect against the spread of the virus, as well as to provide every chance of maintaining business continuity as we navigate the next stages of the COVID-19 roadmap and recovery.
