On Tuesday, 3rd of December we just hosted our very first Variety Kids Christmas Disco, proudly supported by Blue Light (SA) Inc and South Australia Police. Over 1,000 secondary school students, carers, and volunteers hit the dancefloor for a celebration they won’t forget!
This magical event is a highlight for children who are sick, disadvantaged, or living with disability who come together to celebrate the festive season in a safe, welcoming environment. The kids had a blast dancing along to the police band and DJs Bangaz & Ash and to top it all off, Santa made a grand entrance on a police ATV!
Events like this are made possible thanks to the generosity of our fundraisers, donors, sponsors and the hard work of the Variety in Action Committee. Thank you to all the volunteers, Sacred Heart College students and SAPOL cadets who assisted today. Shout out to Police Credit Union, SACARE and Cochrane’s Transport for their support and to the Adelaide Convention Centre for hosting us.
