Experiencing the ride of a lifetime – Meet Jayden

Variety provides grants, scholarships, and programs that support kids who are sick, disadvantaged or living with a disability – but did you know that we facilitate special experiences too?

We do this to enable kids to have fun, relax, make new friends, and create special memories with their families.

Very often for families we support, there’s not much time for fun amid day-to-day care requirements, the struggle to find services, difficulty maintaining employment, and financial pressures that create social isolation.

So, we are always excited to be part of an experience that helps kids be kids!

Recently, Jayden got to experience the ride of his life at Queensland Raceway thanks to Bayley Hall Racing, Porsche driver for McElrea Racing. This rare and thrilling opportunity came our way thanks to Fraser & Mountain Group and Variety – the Children’s Charity of Victoria.

It was very special to see Jayden go from shy and tentative to smiling and excited! This was a positive, life-changing experience for him. Check out the clip below:
