Make a real impact on the lives of kids by raising donations through office competitions, casual dress days or regular bake sales.

What if we told you that you can make a big difference with small change… You can help Aussie kids and the environment! Selling Lottery tickets to your mates, family and colleagues, or at your fundraising events is a great way to raise money! Donate your next celebration to Variety and ask for donations in lieu of gifts and change a child’s life. Honour your loved one by setting up a special page where family and friends can share tributes and leave donations to support kids in need.
Run, cycle or swim for kids! Get active and fundraise for Variety by taking part in walkathons, fun-runs, cycling events and marathons.

Looking for another way to contribute? Show your support to our event participants and fundraisers by making a donation or attending their event.

Creating an online fundraising page or Facebook Fundraiser is one of the easiest and most effective ways to fundraise and change a child’s life. You can be a contestant and fundraise for Variety as part of the Miss World Australia Beauty with a Purpose initiative.

Meet Josiah

Josiah was born with Down Syndrome and was 2 months premature, meaning he spent months post-birth in NICU and Special Care. Josiah is largely non-verbal at present, however communicates through laughs and key word signs. He cannot walk unassisted as he has hypotonia (low muscle tone). Thanks to our wonderful supporters, Josiah received his very own crocodile walker in 2019 allowing him to strengthen his muscles, gain independence and better mobility.

“Josiah is absolutely loving his crocodile walker, and is making such lovely improvements in taking assisted steps, having control in his leg and arm movements, strengthening his core and limbs, and confidence with movement. The progress takes time but is definitely evident, and so worth it. It has been such a blessing for our whole family to receive this gift from your organisation, we are still so thankful. Josiah has used the walker in front of family when they are over, and has everyone cheering with every step, and seems to love his newly found independence.”  Renata, Josiah’s proud Mum.
