Emma Johnson is currently employed with St John NT as a front line worker for our community here in Darwin. Emma is out and about most day with a diverse mix of people that require assistances from the ambulance service.
Emma also advocates for families with NDIS and our hospital system, Emma has a vast knowledge of services around these sectors.
Emma also has a history of Project Management, contracts administration and International banking. Emma has worked on Government project such as SIHIPS – Strategic Indigenous Housing and Infrastructure Program and BER – Building The Education Revolutions both here in the NT and North QLD.
Emma has been in the Territory for the past 14 years and worked both remote and in town, since having her son 7 years ago who was born with CHARGE syndrome Emma has had first hand experience of what its like to live and advocate for children with specials needs.
Emma is also completing a degree in OT, all be it slowly, but enjoys getting out and enjoying all the NT has to offer, from the foreshore to the bush and everything in between.
