Trinity has been incredibly busy since we introduced her to the Variety community back in 2019
From the Hunter Valley, Trinity grew up singing songs around the campfire but now her music is hitting the airwaves and the future is looking even brighter than those childhood campfires.
In January 2020, Trinity made over 25 appearances at the Tamworth Country Musical Festival including hosting her own shows. She has performed at the musical festival every year since 2017 and also headlined the 2020 Macksville Muster. Add to this a number of impressive supports and performances with, or alongside, artists like Troy Kemp, Matt Scullion and The Wolfe Brothers.
She also received the ‘Young Female Achiever of the Year’ award at the 2020 Australia Day Ceremony for the Cessnock area, where she got to share the stage with Tara Naysmith, and Australian Idol winner, Damien Leith.
Her last Variety Scholarship allowed Trinity to go into the recording studio for a week, and work with her producer, Josh Schuberth in February of 2020.
With the songs Trinity recorded, she released a single – ‘Bouquet’ – in October with an accompanying music video which can be viewed here. Once released, Bouquet hit #3 on the iTunes Country Singles Chart and got as high as #8 on the Country Thunder (Australian) Chart.
At the beginning of January 2021, she was a finalist in the ‘Most Promising Future Star’ section of the Australian Country Music People’s Choice Awards, which was a massive honour.
This year, Trinity has plans to release another single in the coming months, with an accompanying music video.
Throughout 2021, she will graduate High School and will continue releasing her music to the world, doing what she loves to do.
Awards and claim to fame aside, Trinity possesses something special in her outlook towards her musical ambitions. Her belief in the value of song is evident in her performance and writing journey. As she explains of her love for the music, “I started singing because I loved it. No matter what I did, I did it whilst singing. After my first time on stage, I knew that that was where I belonged, and I needed to do it again and again.”
Isn’t it hard to believe she is yet to graduate High School with all of the incredible achievements under her belt? She is an inspiration to all aspiring singer/songwriters!
