Variety – the Children’s Charity NSW/ACT and KPMG are calling on Sydneysiders to dust off their lycra and get on their bike as Variety Spin 4 Kids Sydney cycles into action on Friday 6 September.
Teams of up to 10 members are encouraged to register for the five-hour spin bike challenge that’s all about fun, fitness and raising funds for children who are sick, experiencing disadvantage or living with a disability.
Variety NSW/ACT CEO Tony Warner said registrations are filling fast as he urged everyone to gather their friends and colleagues and get pedalling to support kids in need.
“With the rising cost of living, it’s never been tougher for many families experiencing financial hardship or for those living with chronic illness so once again, we are calling on Sydney residents and the Sydney business community to show up, get spinning and support our vital work.”
“Last year, Variety provided more than 340 grants and impacted more than 27,000 children across NSW and the ACT. These outcomes can be life changing but we know from listening to the needs of families and communities that more help is required.”

Spin 4 Kids Sydney will reward those who nail their kilometres and their fundraising efforts with prizes for the best dressed team and individual, best team spirit and the coveted Kings and Queen of Spin.
