1130km Journey of Impact and Generosity: Riders gears up for the 10th Variety Postie Bike Dash

120 riders are gearing up for an unforgettable six-day adventure as the 10th Variety Postie Bike Dash commences on Sunday 5 November 2023.

This annual event promises to be a thrilling ride, showcasing the heart and soul of the beautiful NSW South Coast and Snowy Mountains, while making a profound impact on schools and children along the way.

The Variety Postie Bike Dash, renowned for its adventurous spirit and charitable mission, goes off the beaten track, travelling through the bush and countryside, stopping at rural towns to support schools and local communities.

This year, the Variety Postie Bike Dash 2023 will cover an impressive 1130km over the course of six days, adding to the remarkable legacy of this event.

Over the past 10 years, the Variety Postie Bike Dash has collectively travelled an astounding 13,389.67km, showcasing the enduring commitment of the more than 200 ‘Dashers’ & their CT110 postie bikes that have come along for the rides.

Each year, Variety NSW/ACT awards vital grants to schools enroute, enabling them to enhance their facilities and improve educational opportunities for their students.

In 2023, $35,000 in grants will be distributed across the ride, making a tangible impact on schools and communities along the way.

Variety NSW/ACT CEO, Tony Warner, said the Variety Postie Bike Dash isn’t just an adventure; it’s a journey of generosity and transformation.

“With each stop we make along the way, our riders get to see the incredible results of their fundraising efforts,” he said.

“Our commitment to providing grants means that schools and community groups in need will have the resources to create a better learning environment and opportunities for their students,” Tony said.

The 10th Anniversary Variety Postie Bike Dash 2023 holds the promise of adventure, camaraderie, and most importantly, making a real difference in the lives of children and their communities.

Monday 6 November – Budawang School & Mogo Public School
Wednesday 8 November – Merimbula Public School & Nimmitabel Public School
Thursday 9 November - Cooma Public School & Captains Flat Public School
Friday 10 November - Farrer Primary School
