Young Variety (YV) is a committee of dynamic, driven and well networked young professionals with a shared passion for giving kids a fair go. The committee is made up of young professionals aged 25-40, who volunteer their time to raise awareness, engagement and funds among their own networks in the NSW community to support Variety – the Children’s Charity.
Whether you aspire to be a future change maker, not-for-profit Board member, or want to network with like-minded young professionals, YV provides experience and opportunities for personal and professional growth. We engage the next generation of young Australians to help ensure that Variety continues to improve the lives of children born sick, disadvantaged or with special needs, so that they may live the happy, fulfilled and dignified lives they deserve.
How you can get involved
Are you a young professional aged 25-40? Have you always wanted to be a part of something great helping kids in need?
Have fun and get involved by joining our committee to raise funds and awareness about the work we do at Variety. Help us organise our next 10×10 event where you invite 10 friends to come and hear about how we give kids in need a fair go.
We’re looking for volunteers who are happy to commit to meetings after work once a week for a 6 week period.
The volunteers will be part of the Event Committee, that will be in charge of the planning and running of the event. Ideally the group would have a mixed skill set and social/professional network to invite on the night of the event.
