I’ve been fortunate to have beautiful hair my whole life, and I’ve always understood how much it can shape a person’s identity and confidence. Being able to donate my hair to a young person—someone who may be facing their own challenges—and knowing it might bring them comfort or strength turns my breast cancer diagnosis into something meaningful for me as well. I hope this donation brings someone the same happiness, confidence, and sense of self that my hair has always given me, and that it becomes a small reminder that they’re not alone.
